SCRATCHINGS

Like in the series “Memories“ this images are the results of a continuous reproduction and deconstruction of my printed photographs. Inspiration came from windows in public transport through which I’ve looked on different cities – windows almost blind from scratchings and dirt. I took up this aesthetics and exaggerated it by means of analog manipulation, dividing the images in an “inner” and an “outer” side. The viewer looks out of a window again: the window of time.
